Texture as part of the architecture
Rather than being used as a decorative feature, the Safari Matte finish forms part of the architecture of the store. It flows across the main wall surfaces and around architectural returns and columns, creating continuity throughout the interior. The texture introduces depth and warmth alongside the clean lines of the displays, timber elements, metalwork and stone-effect flooring.
Two bespoke colours, created with Integro
Textured Paints created two bespoke colours specifically for the Bullring store in collaboration with Integro. The colours were refined through physical sampling at Textured Paints before application, ensuring the tones worked precisely within the wider interior scheme. Safari is available in over 1,000 colours, giving designers the freedom to develop the surface in precisely the tone required while retaining its distinctive tactile character.
A considered backdrop for the collection
The textured surfaces provide a calm, tactile setting for HARLI + HARPA’s jewellery displays. The finish adds character without competing with the collection, giving the store warmth and material richness while retaining its contemporary, understated aesthetic.
Developed with Integro
The project was developed in close collaboration with Integro, from the initial colour sampling through to the finished application. The completed result demonstrates how textured paints can be used across substantial architectural surfaces to create a cohesive interior with depth, tactility and a distinctly crafted character.
