Huckletree Bishopsgate

Huckletree Bishopsgate completely rejects the idea that a corporate workspace has to feel sterile. Located inside one of London’s most forward-thinking architectural landmarks, this multi-layered environment was designed from the ground up to feel intentional, warm, and deeply collaborative.

Having partnered with the main contractor, Loop Interiors, on past projects, they knew exactly who to call when it came to the walls. They needed surfaces with soul. Working hand-in-hand with the master decorators at Vivid Finishes, we provided 380 square meters of bespoke textured paint across two expansive floors, striking a delicate balance between a soft, chalky primary wash and a beautifully rugged, industrial statement wall.

The Design Details

• A Grounding Backdrop (350 sq m): To tie the hot-desking lounges, open breakout spaces, and private suites together, we used our signature concrete-effect wash. It acts as a quiet, earthy canvas that anchors the interior's otherwise vibrant, playful colour palette, catching the light softly throughout the day.
  
• The Pitted Concrete Feature (30 sq m): For a dedicated focal zone, the brief called for something unapologetically raw. We provided a thick, heavy-bodied variant of our textured paint, giving the artisans on-site the depth they needed to build a layered, tactile surface. The result is a striking pitted concrete finish, complete with the organic craters and character of poured architectural stone.
  
• Artisanal Collaboration & Sampling: Perfecting the movement and tone of a textured wall cannot be done through a screen. Our technical team joined Vivid Finishes right on the Bishopsgate site to mix, apply, and refine physical mock-up samples. This hands-on process allowed us to tailor the depth of the grain and the play of shadow to match Loop Interiors’ exact aesthetic vision.
  
• Fluid Project Support: High-end commercial fit-outs move fast, and luxury finishes require real care. By staying close to the painters on-site and offering dedicated technical support throughout, we ensured a flawless application that effortlessly met the strict timelines of a major multi-floor commercial development.
